Exploring the Impact: Research on Our Grief Support Model with NYU Langone Health

Together with NYU Langone Health and the Center for Surgical &Transplant Applied Research Team (CSTAR), we are conducting extensive studies on our novel grief support program model. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to advancing the science of donor family care. By partnering with such esteemed institutions, we aim to provide evidence-based support to those who have lost loved ones, ensuring their mental and emotional well-being is prioritized. The research being conducted is crucial in validating the effectiveness of our program and understanding its impact on grief, anxiety, and depression among donor families.

In a preliminary study conducted by NYU Langone Health, researchers found promising results that highlight the efficacy of our grief support program. Among the participants, 86% reported reduced grief symptoms, 79% experienced a decrease in anxiety symptoms, and 76% saw a reduction in depression symptoms. These findings are encouraging and demonstrate the potential of our model to make a significant difference in the lives of donor families. We are honored to contribute to this vital area of research and to help shape the future of donor family care.
