Taylor’s Gift Foundation is guided by an independent Board of Directors and strategic advisors. We rely on this group of people with a diverse background to help guide us through making the most of our mission. They are resources and advocates so that Taylor’s Gift can make the largest impact for everyone who’s ever been and ever will be touched by organ donation.


Dina Conte Schulz - Board Chair

Co-Host and Executive Producer – The Kids Doctor

Dina Conte Schulz is a 25 year news and entertainment veteran. She began her career with WNBC-TV News in New York working her way from a production assistant to a segment producer. She also worked on several shows including The Prime of Your Life and Christmas in Rockefeller Center. Dina worked for Phil Donahue as an associate producer for Donahue’s book-turned-prime time special The Human Animal. After five years in New York City, Dina crossed the river to New Jersey (her home state) and helped launch CNBC-TV in prime time.

Dina was the producer of The Money Club which was honored with a national CableAce Award, the first such award for the network.

In 1997, she moved to Texas and began working for WFAA-TV. Dina was the senior broadcast producer when “Good Morning Texas” was nominated for its first Emmy. GMT went on to win an Emmy for Best Interview/Talk Program under Dina’s leadership. In 2000, she was honored by the American Women in Radio and Television with a Gracie Allen Award for Best Individual Achievement by Individual Producer. In, 2005, Dina co-created The Kid’s Doctor, an award-winning media company providing expert advice on the best ways to raise children. She is the editor of The Kid’s Doctor nationally syndicated newspaper column, and is the managing editor for kidsdr.com features, co-author of “Tattoos to Texting: Parenting Today’s Teen” and executive producer of The Kid’s Doctor regular TV feature on WFAA-TV.

Steve Smith - Vice-President

Partner – Firehouse 

Steve Smith is an ad guy. It’s in his blood. Steve loves learning multiple businesses and tackling marketing challenges that seem new each day. Steve has spent 25 years in the ad agency business in Dallas, working for a host of agencies that include: Publicis, McCann-Erickson, Berry-Brown, Fogarty Klein Monroe, and Temerlin McCain. He is currently an equity partner at Firehouse, managing the strategy team consisting of more than one-third of the agency’s staff.

Marsha Skinner is an Entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Project Management. Her love for sharing her time, talent and treasure with causes that matter is what brought her to Taylor’s Gift three years ago as the Volunteer Chief Financial Officer. Strategizing and creating success is her passion at Taylor’s Gift.

Tara Storch - Secretary

Tara Storch is first and foremost a wife and mom. Including Taylor, she is mother to son Ryan and daughter Peyton. As co-founder of Taylor’s Gift Foundation, award-winning author, and community leader she strives to share her story at every possible opportunity to help make an impact in the world around her.

Opening up about her journey of finding hope and purpose after the loss of her daughter Taylor, she and her husband Todd speak publicly about the importance of organ donation across the nation. She has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Ellen Show, People Magazine and other national and international media, bringing a message of inspiration that is touching lives around the world.

Tony Bridwell - Board Member

Tony Bridwell is a Partner and Practice Leader for Partners In Leadership with nearly three decades of executive leadership experience. Most recently serving as the Chief People Officer of Brinker International (the parent company of Chili’s and Maggiano’s restaurants), Tony is a highly recognized thought leader in corporate culture, L&D, and human resources, being named 2015 HR Executive of the Year by DallasHR (the local affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management) and also receiving the 2015 Strategic Leadership Award from Strategic Excellence HR.

Tony has been a facilitator and featured speaker for audiences of several thousand people. Organizations from North America, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Italy, Belgium, Egypt, China, Thailand, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico have sought his high energy and captivating style. Aside from presenting and facilitating summits and keynotes for organizations, he has been the featured speaker for multiple conferences and associations, including the CHRO Exchange, Dallas HR (SHRM), the HRSouthwest Conference, ATD San Diego, and the California Restaurant Association.

Tony also authored the books, The Difference Maker (August 2013) and The Kingmaker (June 2016).

Javier Espinosa - Board Member

Chief Marketing Officer – Tavistock Investment Group Mexico

Javier Espinosa is the CMO at Tavistock Investment Group Mexico. At the age of 22 he received a liver transplant after an aggressive case of mononucleosis resulted in acute liver failure. This life-changing event gave him a new perspective and a passion for making a difference. In the name of his anonymous donor, Javier competed and earned a gold medal in the U.S. Transplant Games in cycling and then a silver medal in the World Transplant Games.

Today, Javier leads a marketing team for various investments in Mexico, focusing on footwear and apparel. Over the span of his career he has worked for brands like Puma, Vans, Sperry, Saucony, Supra, Stance, and TYR.

He was introduced to Taylor’s Gift at the first annual Outlive Yourself Awards. Now, as a father of two daughters he felt a calling to get involved and co-chaired the second annual Outlive Yourself Awards.

Vice President, Socks – NIKE North America

Hans George is a seasoned Product and Merchandising business leader with experience at well-known consumer brands like Neiman Marcus, Kraft Foods, and NIKE, where he has spent the last 20 years of his career.  In his current role as Vice President, Global Socks, Hans is responsible for leading a cross-functional creation team toward delivering product against all categories and driving NIKE’s total global sock business.

Greg Goyne - Board Member

SVP Brand Marketing – Nationstar Mortgage

Greg Goyne began helping Taylor’s Gift in 2011. At that time, Greg was a partner at Firehouse, the advertising and branding agency that continues to help Taylor’s Gift. Today, he is the senior vice president of brand marketing at Nationstar Mortgage, but over the course of his career, Greg has led the development and execution of integrated marketing programs for an array of brands, including Baylor Health Care Services, WGU Texas, Interstate Batteries, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Motel 6, McDonald’s, Kraft, Heinz, 7Up and Samsonite Luggage.  His marketing experience also includes time at Gulfstream Aerospace, where he served at Marketing Director during the record-breaking launch of the Gulfstream V.


Eric Wewers - Board Member

Eric Wewers graduated from the UALR School of Law in 1990.  After graduation he moved to Dallas , Texas and began working for the prestigious firm of DeHay & Blanchard.  In 1992, Eric left DeHay & Blanchard to form the law firm of DeHay & Elliston.  His work experience was in the areas of complex toxic tort litigation, legal negligence defense, product liability defense, pharmaceutical defense and medical malpractice defense.  On January 1, 2001 Eric resigned from the partnership of DeHay & Elliston to open the Texas office for the nationally known firm of Wilkes & McHugh representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.  In October, 2002, Wilkes & McHugh moved Eric back home to Little Rock to work in their office here.  There he was responsible for cases in both Arkansas and Texas .On November 1, 2003 The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers was formed.    The focus of Eric’s practice is still nursing home abuse and neglect.  However, Eric also represents a number of small businesses in a variety of matters including start up, contracts, litigation, sales and business consulting.


Gregg Murry - Board Member


Vice President of Strategic Development – Service King Collision Repair Centers

Gregg Murry is a native Texan and the oldest of four sons of a Baptist minister.  The journey as a pastor’s son has shaped Murry’s view of loving God and loving others in a radical way.  Gregg and his wife Krista are licensed foster parents for the past nine years.  In addition to being foster parents, Gregg and Krista are the proud parents of four children, Mitchell who is married to Elizabeth, Chase, Landen and Reece.

Gregg has worked with non-profit, Water is Basic since 2011 and serves as Chairman of the Board. In addition to his work with Water is Basic, Murry has served as an advisor for strategic construction planning for ALARM (African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministry) and he and his wife are also involved in fundraising and awareness efforts to stop human trafficking, locally and internationally.

Murry leads the new location development initiative as the Vice President of Strategic Development at Service King Collision Repair Centers.  Previously he has held the roles of Vice President of Advertising and Vice President of Facilities Development, as well as, Director of Marketing at Service King.  He played an active role in the development of multiple new locations during Service King’s foundational growth years, which more than doubled the size of the company, while managing all media and marketing communications.  Between his first and second stint at Service King, he became the president and owner of Construction Strategies and Renascent Constructors, LLC from 1998 to 2012.  Murry has more than 30 years of experience in marketing/advertising and real estate development and construction.  With a bounty of experience in diverse fields, he brings a wealth of expertise to the Service King team and the other organizations he and Krista and involved with.

Patti Niles is the President and CEO of Southwest Transplant Alliance, one of the largest organ donor programs in the country. She is the current President of the Board of Directors for Donate Life Texas and an Advisory Board member for RTI Donor Services. Patti has been in the organ and transplant industry for 25 years and is very driven to reduce the wait for those needing a life-saving transplant.

Mitchell Savage - Board Member

Mitchell Savage was first touched by organ donation in 1986 when his father went into the care of transplant pioneer Dr. Jack Copeland and become the recipient in the 123rd heart transplant ever performed. That gift kept the family together for five more otherwise-impossible years, a highly successful benchmark at that time. Mitch brings 25 years of experience as a nonprofit volunteer, advocate, and board member. Mitch is a veteran of eight startup companies, most in technology. As a startup CEO, Mitch amassed experience across marketing, operations, finance, and development of high performing teams. Entrepreneurship brought him a diverse experience of life including living across the U.S. and in Europe. Mitch now manages his own investment banking firm, and volunteers with agencies and causes he admires, including organ donor registration.
