Our Story

Taylor’s Gift Foundation is a national organization founded in April 2010 following the unexpected death of 13-year-old Taylor Storch. Taylor’s Gift has become a positive force in changing the conversation about organ donation to encourage individuals nationally to ‘Outlive Yourself.’

Taylor’s parents, Todd and Tara, have connected with four out of five of Taylor’s recipients. The touching meeting with Taylor’s heart recipient was filmed by a Dallas news station and later rebroadcasted by numerous media outlets around the world, including Good Morning America. This story touched millions and continues to inspire many more.

Our Mission

Taylor’s Gift was created to honor the ultimate gift of life that Taylor was able to give to others. The efforts and programs of Taylor’s Gift focuses on our mission to increase organ donation to Regift Life, Renew Health, and Restore Families. We work to increase organ donor registration through campaigns and programs, provide financial assistance to families who have been impacted by organ donation through our Legacy Gift program, and offer events and speaking engagements to encourage an overall mentality of ‘outliving’ oneself.
