Taylor’s Gift Team

Tara and Todd Storch established Taylor’s Gift Foundation after their 13 year old daughter Taylor died in a snow-skiing accident in 2010. Amidst their grief and heartache, the couple made a life-saving decision to donate Taylor’s organs and give the gift of life to others. In April of 2010 they founded Taylor’s Gift in her memory and began sharing their message of hope and inspiration. The Foundation works to increase the number of registered organ donors, financially support donor families, and encourage the idea that everyone has the power to “Outlive Yourself” through organ donation and beyond. Tara volunteers her time to the Foundation by being Secretary on the Board of Directors, leading marketing efforts and public speaking across the nation. Additionally, they have shared their story through national media and their award-winning book, Taylor’s Gift.

Emily joined us in 2015 and brings over 17 years of non-profit experience to Taylor’s Gift Foundation. As a seasoned fundraiser Emily is eager to expand the reach of the Donor Family Support program while promoting the importance of organ donation. She loves having the opportunity to work with contributors and volunteers to further an important mission and help inspire the passion to “Outlive Yourself.” We are excited to have Emily leading the team!

Lindsay’s background is in non-profit fundraising, particularly in special event planning. Lindsay plans and executes the organization’s events including Sporting Clays, Topgolf Tournament, and the Outlive Yourself Awards. In addition, she assists with the execution of additional grassroots events locally and around the country. She is passionate about the amazing work that Taylor’s Gift is doing to serve the community. And, of course, she is a registered organ donor. We are lucky to have Lindsay leading our events!

Living in Coppell for 26+ years, and knowing the Storch Family and their story, Kim joined the team in October 2014 as Foundation Assistant & Staff Photographer, after supporting, participating, and volunteering for Taylor’s Gift Foundation for several years. As a former educator, she enjoys learning and sharing information about organ donation, and is a registered organ donor. Kim also brings her love of photography to the foundation helping out with photos for staff and events. We are thankful Kim joined to help with important “behind the scenes” work!
